Surmodics Pounce Sheath
The Surmodics Pounce™ Sheath, REF PFS-0035-12F14, is a sterile, single-use catheter introducer designed to facilitate the introduction of therapeutic or diagnostic devices into the vasculature. This 12F sheath features a braided nitinol, self-expanding distal funnel that is deployed and retracted using a slider on the handle. A radiopaque marker supports fluoroscopic visualization, while the hub incorporates a manually defeatable hemostasis valve to help minimize contact with devices during insertion and removal. The sheath also includes an aspiration assembly for the delivery of contrast or saline and a dilator compatible with a 0.035-inch guidewire.
