The Medtronic LF1212A LigaSure Small Jaw open sealer-divider is a multifunctional tissue-sealing instrument designed for open procedures in confined surgical spaces where access and visibility are important. LigaSure technology applies controlled pressure and energy to fuse vessels up to and including 7 mm in diameter and tissue bundles, while the independently operated integrated cutting mechanism allows sealed tissue to be divided without exchanging instruments. Its 28-degree angled small jaw supports precise access around anatomical structures during otolaryngology, general, plastic and reconstructive, urologic, and thoracic procedures. The instrument offers hand or foot-switch activation and is compatible with the Valleylab FT10 Energy Platform and Valleylab LS10 Generator.
