Stryker Zipline ZipSeal Surgical Skin Closure
The Zip is a non-invasive and easy to use wound closure device that replaces sutures, staples and glue for surgical incisions and lacerations. It is used for skin closure after deeper, tension-reducing suture layers are applied.
The Zip improves the patient experience by minimizing scarring and eliminating “railroad” marks that come with staples or sutures. It makes removal as atraumatic as peeling off a bandage, enabling patients to remove it at home (at their physician’s discretion). Its flexible design enables greater patient range of motion during recovery
