The ATEC Spine BioCORE Moldable Bioactive Graft is an osteoconductive mineral-collagen composite designed to fill bony voids or gaps that are not intrinsic to the stability of the skeletal structure. The porous graft combines carbonate apatite, bioactive glass, and Type I collagen to provide an environment that supports bony ingrowth, resorption, and remodeling. After hydration with bone marrow aspirate or physiological saline combined with autograft, the material can be molded to conform to the graft site and may also be used as a bone-graft extender.
