Used for catheter positioning and exchange in a tortuous or kinked ureter, or traversing a large stone en route to the kidney. The nitinol core allows maximum deflection without kinking. The platinum tip ensures high visualization during fluoroscopy. One-to-one torque control allows precise navigation throughout the most challenging anatomy. The Roadrunner is available in standard and stiff shaft. The AQ® coating is a microthin layer of hydrophilic polymer that, when activated, attracts and holds water and other liquids to the wire guide, creating a low-friction surface. Not intended for PTCA use.
