Intersurgical CP211XL/2RA StarMed CaStar R is an extra-large hood-style patient interface designed for non-invasive mechanical ventilation (NIV) and CPAP therapy in adult patients with respiratory insufficiency. The transparent respiratory hood incorporates an inflatable neck cushion, sealed probe and catheter access ports, 22M respiratory connectors, and a patient access port with a bi-directional anti-asphyxiation valve. The extra-large configuration is designed for patients with a neck circumference of 45 to 52 cm.
