Medtronic Excipio Thrombectomy Device
Excipio™ thrombectomy devices are rapid exchange catheters with a mechanical basket used with controlled aspiration for procedural efficiency. They are purpose-built to work with aspiration catheters like Liberant™ thrombectomy system.
The Excipio™ SV thrombectomy device is indicated for the nonsurgical removal of soft emboli and thrombi from peripheral blood vessels. The Excipio™ LV thrombectomy device and Excipio™ LV Prime thrombectomy device are indicated for the nonsurgical removal of emboli and thrombi from peripheral blood vessels.
- Combined Therapy: Expandable basket used with aspiration enables clot disruption and removal
- Basket Control: Slider mechanism allows physicians to open/close the basket, adjusting its size to varying vessel anatomy
- Guidewire Access: Access can be maintained to support easy exchanges and multiple passes without system removal
