Integrated Orbital Implants (IOI) is the manufacturer of the Bio?Eye® Hydroxyapatite Orbital Implant, a porous, marine-derived implant designed for use in enucleation and evisceration procedures. Based in San Diego, IOI pioneered the use of natural hydroxyapatite to promote fibrovascular ingrowth, allowing stable integration with orbital tissue and support for pegged prostheses to enable natural prosthetic eye movement. The Bio?Eye® implant is widely used by oculoplastic surgeons for its biocompatibility, long-term performance, and ability to support dynamic prosthesis motility.
