The Size 23 blade features a distinctive leaf-shaped profile with a curved cutting edge extending toward the point, making it particularly well suited for long, smooth incisions such as abdominal incisions and other open surgical approaches requiring an extended cutting stroke. It is compatible with a Size 4 scalpel handle and is manufactured from Grade F stainless steel in accordance with BS EN ISO 7153-1:2001.
