The Medtronic GIA10048S is a gastrointestinal stapler preloaded with a 100mm green SULU (Single Use Loading Unit), designed for use in thick tissue applications such as bariatric, colorectal, and general surgery. Compatible with DST Series™ Technology, this stapler fires four staggered rows of titanium staples while simultaneously transecting tissue. After the first firing, the stapler can be reloaded with up to seven additional DST Series™ reloads, making it a single-patient-use, multi-fire device ideal for procedures where space is limited and tissue thickness is significant.
