The BVI Beaver Visitec Myringotomy Blade, REF 377100, is a sterile, single-use surgical blade used to create an incision in the tympanic membrane during ear surgery. This incision permits drainage of middle-ear fluid and can provide access for tympanostomy tube placement. The blade features a lance tip with a downward cutting edge and 45-degree offset for access through the ear canal.
