Superior Sample Yield

SuperCore Advantage collects up to 35% more sample than other market-leading competitors, helping to reduce the need for multiple passes.

Higher Spring Strength

Up to 8.8% higher spring strength applied to a cannula when fired than competitors. The higher the spring force when fired, the more likely the cannula will penetrate through tough tissue to cut a sample cleanly.

A cleanly cut sample may reduce fragmentation and improve the diagnostic yield. This could mean fewer passes are necessary to obtain adequate sample, and it is easier for the pathologist to reach an accurate diagnosis.

Minimized Needle Tip Length

True sample notch size (10mm vs 20mm) allows the device to collect maximum sample yield.

Integrated Coax Adaptor

In lung biopsies, the user can lock down the access site and capture enough samples with strong spring strength without worrying about the extra velocity and friction between the coax and the stylet that can potentially result in the displacement of the small lesions during the procedure. Similarly, the integrated adaptor makes lung biopsies efficient and helps to minimize damage to surrounding vessels by maintaining the access site.
