Medtronic Monosof Nylon Monofilament Non-Absorbable Suture
Monosof™ monofilament nylon sutures are inert, non-absorbable, sterile surgical sutures composed of the long-chain aliphatic polymers Nylon 6. They maintain a high level of elasticity after implantation while eliciting a low inflammatory response.
Medtronic N-2547 Monosof monofilament nylon suture is a sterile, nonabsorbable black 8-0 surgical suture designed for fine soft tissue approximation and ligation in ophthalmic surgery and other microsurgery applications. It is supplied with an MV-135-5 microsurgery needle and is well suited to procedures requiring precise tissue handling and very small-caliber suture.
