BD Bard Vida PTV Balloon Dilatation Catheter
The Vida™ PTV Dilatation Catheter is a high-performance balloon catheter featuring an over-the-wire design with a balloon affixed at the distal tip. Its proprietary, non-compliant, low-profile balloon is engineered to maintain consistent diameters and lengths, even under high pressures. Two radiopaque markers define the balloon’s working length and assist with precise placement.
The catheter’s coaxial design includes an atraumatic tip to facilitate smooth advancement to and through the valve. It is compatible with a .035” guidewire and is available in a 100 cm working length.
At the proximal end, the catheter is equipped with two female luer-lock hubs—one for the inflation lumen and one for the guidewire lumen. Each unit is packaged with a profile-reducing sheath, which protects the balloon prior to use, as well as a re-wrapping tool integrated into the catheter shaft for ease of handling.
This product is not manufactured with latex.
