KyphX® HV-R™

KyphX® HV-R™ Bone Cement is designed to meet the specific needs of the Balloon Kyphoplasty procedure by providing for the controlled delivery of bone cement.

• Simply mix the monomer liquid and the polymer powder together in the Kyphon® Mixer. No other supplemental components are required.
• KyphX® HV-R™ Bone Cement can be delivered in the high-viscosity, doughy state under fine manual control through the KyphX® Bone Filler Device. A pressurized delivery system should not be used.
• KyphX® HV-R™ Bone Cement contains 30% Barium Sulfate. This eliminates the need to add supplementary radiopaque agents to the bone cement mixture.
