Ambu Aura-i Laryngeal Mask

The Ambu Aura-i is a disposable supraglottic airway that is ideal for use in can’t intubate – can’t ventilate situations, difficult airway cases and failed intubation, where the end-goal is to intubate the patient. Indicated for use as a conduit for intubation, the Aura-i also features useful navigation markings on the cuff backplate to assist in the guidance of a flexible scope.

The Aura-i is ideal for use in situations where the end-goal is to intubate the patient. After insertion, the Aura-i can be used for ventilation, before being used as a conduit for intubation, assisted by a flexible scope. This makes the Aura-i a useful device to have available for can’t intubate-can’t ventilate situations, as well as situations that require the placement of a tracheal tube after insertion of the Aura-i.

Similarly to the other Ambu laryngeal mask products, the Aura-i has a thin and soft cuff which is able to establish a seal with a low cuff pressure. It is also associated with fast insertion times and high seal pressures that facilitate the provision of effective ventilation.

Suitable for routine anesthesia, difficult airway patients, failed intubation, resuscitation, use as a conduit for intubation.
